Welcome to my artsy-quiltsy blog. After thirty years of quilting, I found that life is too short to quilt by The Rules. I met quilt artist Cyndi Souder who suggested I explore art quilting in her Art Quilt course. I also took a mixed media class with Bernie Rowell and learned to paint canvas to use as quilt fabric from Elizabeth Busch. My life is richer thanks to these talented women. My art has a long way to go and thanks to this blog, you will be able to enjoy the pain with me!
